There is time for planning on attending this weekend the Smithsonian National Postal Museum Valentines Day Card Workshop 2018; it is open to all ages. If you find yourself going to be in the Washington, D.C. area this FREE Annual event may be just the perfect family event!
Before we get started, here is a link to my previous blog post on their Postal Museum Valentine’s Day Card Workshop from 2016.
Smithsonian National Postal Museum Valentines Day Card Workshop 2018
One of the really fun aspects of writing a daily blog post encouraging letter writing is seeing this fantastic opportunity; the Annual Valentine’s Day Card Workshop the Smithsonian National Postal Museum puts on is for free.
In addition, this may be the perfect way to spend the day with fellow handmade Valentines Card making enthusiasts; it is this Saturday and Sunday, 10 to 4 each day.
“Love is in the details at the annual Valentine’s Day Card Workshop at the National Postal Museum!
Come out and create heartfelt handmade cards and visit the museum’s stamp store to send the cards to your loved ones with a special Postal Museum postmark.”
Furthermore, in reading further about the event click here I love reading they include mailing the special Postal Museum postmarks from their SpongeBob Mailbox which we have covered here before at AnchoredScraps.
In conclusion, if you end up attending this event you’ll have to let me know all the details from your National Postal Museum Adventure!
Anchors Aweigh,
Helen
