Do you recall in the movie Groundhog Day the scene where Bill Murray sat there and kept answering ALL of the questions to Jeopardy! before the questions were even finished being asked? There are times we do not know the answer or I should say we are in pursuit of the answer.
The point of today’s blog post is even when we don’t know the answer we can keep moving forward, take constructive action to seek the answer and all the while we do have the option to continue to pray. These are the sentiments I’m sharing in a snail mail letter I am writing to a friend and so it has made its way into today’s blog post.
Groundhog Day – Jeopardy scene
“A hero is someone who, in spite of weakness, doubt or not always knowing the answers, goes ahead and overcomes anyway.”
– Christopher Reeve
“I don’t pretend we have all the answers. But the questions are certainly worth thinking about.”
– Arthur C. Clarke
If you know of friends who are dealing with uncertainty do not under estimate how helpful and appreciated a simple note in the mail from you would be appreciated! If you are facing a situation where you don’t know but still in search, please know you are not alone and to hang in there!
Anchors Aweigh,
Helen
