Think Typewriters when looking at the cover of Tom Hanks Book Uncommon Type: Some Stories; his first book debuts today.

Furthermore, seeing the below tweet by Tom Hanks on Monday was perfectly done. I’m including an image of it. At the time of writing this early morning today’s post, it has 916 Retweets, and 10,978 Likes.

When you get yourself a cup of hot tea or coffee (or diet-coke) and have a minute, go over to The Guardian. They have an article back from February: “Tom Hanks to publish first book, Uncommon Type: Some Stories.”

“The Forrest Gump star has turned his hand to short fiction with a collection of 17 tales, all themed around his passion for typewriters.”

It was just last month we were looking at California Typewriter movie with Tom Hanks & The Typosphere. I’m still wanting to see this movie!
