Today’s Month and Day are the title with 3.14 Pi Day Letter Writing.
One of my previous blog posts on this day included Dear Professor Einstein with this being his birthday. I’m still processing the news of the passing of Stephen Hawking today.
About Pi Day
“March 14 is Pi Day. It is a day to celebrate the mathematical constant pi (π) and to eat lots of pie. Celebrated in countries that follow the month/day (m/dd) date format, because the digits in the date, March 14 or 3/14, are the first three digits of π (3.14), Pi Day was founded by Physicist Larry Shaw in 1988.”
For our letter writing today, we have a lot of different ways to express it with mathematics and also with recipes. I’m thinking of being able to use the image for today’s post as inspiration for putting either on the front or the back of envelopes when addressing them.
I’m closing with this – “Sheldon meets Stephen Hawking- The big bang theory”. Anchors Aweigh,
Helen
