Seeing the NEW CRANE Vintage Jeep with Surfboard Notecards is our beginning of Father’s Day Stationery ideas with Father’s Day a few weeks away. It has me immediately thinking of the station wagon from the 1962 Jimmy Stewart Movie, “Mr. Hobbs Takes A Vacation”.
I’m including this aside for one of my email blog subscribers – the movie plot does include a bird-watcher, not the main plot but there is one! In a lot of ways, the plot still is timeless. And our family beach trips, fortunately, have not included a barely working water pump!
First, with May being National Military Appreciation Month 2019, you may enjoy my blog post Serving without the camera during WWII from 5-24-2015. It includes a photo “from 1943 of Lt. Col. James T. Stewart & Major Clark Gable – RAF Polebrook, Source: USAAF.”

Back to Jimmy Stewart’s movie. I still recall subjecting my Dad & Mom to watch it with us while visiting here one of their visits to North Carolina. Enjoy!
