WWII Veteran Requesting 100 Birthday Cards for 100th Birthday on October 7th

This morning I’m sharing about this WWII Veteran Requesting 100 Birthday Cards for 100th Birthday on October 7th!

“Hello! My name is James South and I am a proud World War II Veteran! I will be turning 100 on October 7th, 2019 and I would like to receive 100 birthday cards,” the sign reads.”

In the USA Today article, it was sharing “South, who moved into Brookdale last year at the age of 98, told the staff he wants to have all of the cards framed and hung on his walls.”

Furthermore, here is the mailing address to send your Birthday card to him.

“If you want to send a special message to South you can send cards to:

James South
5800 North Park Drive
Watauga, TX 76148″

If you are new to my daily blog, it was just three years ago this month several of us sent cards to Miss Phoebe Anthony Participate in 100 cards for 100th birthday & LWA (10-13-2016).

My thanks to local stamp club buddy, Bruce, for calling the birthday card request to my attention.

There is still time for participating!

Anchors Aweigh,

Helen
