On sending a 2023 Valentine’s Pictorial Postmark

On sending a 2023 Valentine’s Pictorial Postmark from Valentine Texas is fun seeing it included in this past week’s Postal Bulletin. Although the weather this entire weekend has found us with a huge rainy wet soaked yard and being indoors – I am still enthusiastic knowing this Tuesday is Valentine’s!  And for our new email blog subscribers here – a warm welcome!

On sending a 2023 Valentine's Pictorial Postmark

For 2023 I’m only seeing one Valentine’s Pictorial Postmark this year. One of the nice things about writing this blog is being able to go back to previous years for reference and I see where last year when writing about them there were two Valentine’s Pictorial Postmarks. And 2020 saw three, as well as 2019.

Pictorial postmarks are available only for the dates indicated, and requests must be postmarked no later than 30 days following the requested pictorial postmark date…

Customers wishing to obtain a postmark must affix stamps to any envelope or postcard of their choice, address the envelope or postcard to themselves or others, insert a card of postcard thickness in envelopes for sturdiness, and tuck in the flap. Place the envelope or postcard in a larger envelope and address it to: Pictorial Postmarks, followed by the Name of the Station, Address, City, State, ZIP+4® Code, as listed next to the postmark.”

Here’s the address:

  • February 14, 2023
  • City of Valentine
  • Love Station
  • Postmaster
  • 311 West California Avenue
  • Valentine, TX 79854-9998

I hope you have fun plans for this week with Valentine’s! Here’s to a great week ahead!

Anchors Aweigh,

Helen
