Today on April 18, we are looking at Scott U.S. 1880-89 Wildlife of America Booklet. And a Happy 4th Birthday to Cooper!
At the end of today’s post, I’m offering a sleuthing two questions, and if you can send me the correct answers I have a surprise goodie to snail mail to you.
Wildlife of America Booklet
The 1981 Wildlife of America booklet was interesting reading about it over at Mystic Stamp.
“However, it wasn’t until the Postal Service issued the wildlife booklet that any of the stamps focused on endangered species.”
Furthermore, I’m including the Classic First Day Cover #1888-89 at Mystic Stamp Company.
Cooper’s 4th Birthday
As far as Cooper’s Birthday, it has been an enjoyable one here at home. With the coronavirus pandemic stay-at-home, he has not been going to daycare and so missing his Birthday at Pawville this year.

P.S. Writing today’s blog was really funny behind the scenes. It is something I will be sharing in a few of my next set of letters I’m writing to pen pals. The net is I thought the blog count number today was a different number. And it made a difference in what I ended up posting today; it will debut in a future post. Today it turns out is daily blog post #1879! In the meantime, I hope you have enjoyed today’s look at the Wildlife of America booklet of stamps.
