Cooper Merry Christmas 2021 Greetings & December 25 Pictorial Postmark

On this Saturday morning, we have Cooper Merry Christmas 2021 Greetings! And it is wonderful getting to share there is a December 25 Pictorial Postmark getting announced this next week in the US Postal Bulletin, the last issue for 2021.

Cooper Merry Christmas 2021 Greetings

First, we have Cooper sending his Christmas greetings.

My sincere thanks to Pawville for their photo of him from Wednesday. At age five he is still playing full blast these days. We finally have a Christmas stocking for him on the fireplace mantle this year!

December 25 Pictorial Postmark

The December 25 2021 Pictorial Postmark is about recognizing Camp Lejeune complementing its relationship with the city of Wilmington, NC.

If you are still working on Christmas cards, (like I am!) here’s an opportunity to queue them up and send via Wilmington NC and have them sent onward from there with the December 25 Pictorial Postmark on them! True it means they will be arriving a little later; however, it adds a definite extra oomph to our envelopes.  The full address details and the how-to process will be in the Postal Bulletin. Upon its announcement, I’ll be adding an Addendum to this post with its link and list the address here too.

Wilmington Philatelic Society member Richard Porcelli designed the December 25 2021 Pictorial Postmark. If you are new to my blog, Richard is the person who has designed several milestone cachets here at AnchoredScraps namely for 1000, 1500, and 2000 daily blog posts!

This is the design:

Thank you for joining me on this Christmas Day 2021!

If you should be on the road (or air) wishing you safe travels. I know in the midst of the Holiday celebrations can also be full of challenges, please know that you are not alone. This is our last post for 2021. Join me back here in a week when we welcome in the new year 2022. Here’s to a Merry Christmas 2021!

P.S. Be sure to check out the beautiful blog post by Mark Adams today at Type-Writer.org. It is entitled “In the bleak midwinter…” The song is one of my favorite Christmas carols and so especially beautiful reading his post.

You may enjoy my blog post from December 11, 2015 “In The Bleak Midwinter”.
