On this Monday morning, we are kicking off a new week looking at the new USPS Postal Store listing of Peanuts Letters to Santa Kit.
Not only is today Columbus Day, if you live in Canada – it is their Thanksgiving Day. There are several AnchoredScraps email blog subscribers who live in Canada with whom I also Pen Pal! I enjoy using the USPS International Stamps (The Moon 2016 Forever Global Stamp; Green Succulent 2017 Forever Global Stamp) when writing to them.
New Peanuts Letters to Santa Kit
I’m continuing a Peanuts theme from yesterday’s blog post on Letter Writing Desk Must Have – Hallmark Peanuts Typewriter Sentiment Holder.
First, something to note, they are listing it as Peanuts Letters to Santa Holiday Notepad; however, the style bundling is similar to the New Mickey Mouse Letters to Santa Kit listing.
Second, I’m including an image of the Peanuts List Holiday Notepad towards the end of today’s post. Also, there is the Peanuts Purse Holiday Notepad.
Third, The Peanuts Tri-Stack Tower Holiday Notepad inspires me to begin writing Christmas letters early for tucking into my Christmas cards. Speaking of which, there are Peanuts Greeting cards at the USPS Postal Store too!
Remembering My Dad Today
On a separate note, and with an early nod towards Thanksgiving here, I’m mindful today would have been my Dad’s 88th Birthday. Just as I did last year, on this day I’m smiling re-reading my blog post from October 9, 2015: Dad & Travis McGee. If you are new to my daily blog encouraging old-style correspondence letter writing, you’ll want to read my first blog post as it gives the reason for the name of my blog and why I started blogging.
I’m thankful for the daily journey this blog continues to unfold to me and for the deepening of friends I already knew through our letter writing, and the new friends I’ve met along the way – especially my new Pen Pals and Stamp Club buddies! Not to get ahead of our Thanksgiving which for the U.S. is in November, again, my sincere thank you for continuing to be on this daily blog journey with me. I think Snoopy has it right – dancing in the snow doing the happy dance!
