Wreaths Across America Giving Campaign
If you are new to my blog, I’ve been covering Wreaths Across America for four years now (please see some of the link listings below at the end). Christmas 2015 was my first one without my Dad. It was very special having him remembered with a wreath that year. My continued thanks to Ellen, one of My Three Muses here at AnchoredScraps for her continued volunteering with them.
Even though their Giving in July campaign is wrapping up, they are continuing to collaborate with five partner charities that “Remember, Honor, & Teach EVERYDAY”.
- “The Maine Troop Greeters & Museum (AnchoredScraps Thank you Maine Troop Greeters! 7-03-2015);
- The Gary Sinise Foundation;
- America’s Mighty Warriors;
- Travis Manion Foundation; and
- Honor and Remember.
By the way, for every $15 wreath sponsorship, these “DO GOOD TWICE” partnerships provide a wreath on a veteran’s grave and a $5 “pay-it-forward” payback to the nonprofit.
