On this Friday heading into Labor Day weekend it’s time for AnchoredScraps August 2018 Letter Writing Blog Recap.

You may have noticed the image of the “I’d Rather Be Blogging” postcard.

It was a joy to receive in my mailbox this afternoon from a dear Pen Pal in Alberta.

This sentence in the first paragraph is fantastic! “Thought of only one person to receive this card when I saw it!”

The month began with presenting at WordCamp Birmingham 2018! My topic was “12 Lessons from Daily Blogging for over 1200 Days & Still Counting.” As soon as it is published on WordPress.TV I’ll be sure to update everyone here.  It was a great experience and September will find us here locally hosting WordCamp Wilmington for over 200 WordPress enthusiasts!

We have some new email blog subscribers this month. On the last day of each month, I have the listing of monthly blog recap.  It is a great reference listing in case missed a post originally or just wanting to go back and re-read a few. Enjoy!
